Songfacts®:

  • This feel-good summer pop tune is a collaboration between Cheat Codes and Little Mix. Written by Cheat Codes with The Six and Digital Farm Animals, the LA DJ trio knew instantly they wanted the vocals of the UK girl band on the track.
  • The club track starts slowly and pensively before building to a huge hook. Lyrically. it finds Little Mix and Cheat Codes' Trevor Dahl singing about a crumbling Paris romance. The LA DJ trio explained:

"When we did 'Only You' we wanted to tell a story that a lot of people are familiar with, like picturing love as your favourite movie and this is the final scene. You don't want it to ever end but unfortunately there's no way to rewind the footage, the memories of that love are all we hold. Only You is about that special someone that no matter where you are in the universe your stars still align."
  • Directed by Frank Borin, the LGBTQ-themed storyline highlights a dreamy gay romance, shot at a moonlit house party. The clip stars actress Peyton List, whose TV and film credits include the series Jessie, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and 27 Dresses.
