After coming fourth on the British talent show The X-Factor in 2008 at the age of 16, Lancashire-born English singer-songwriter and actress Diana Vickers quietly signed to the RCA label. She spent six months in a studio recording her debut album, Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree, before playing the starring role in a West End production of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. After completing her theater stint, Vickers concentrated on launching her music career.
To the younger crowd, "A Little Less Conversation" is one of the most popular Elvis Presley songs. Peaking at #50 when it was released in 1968, it got new life in the '00s when it was used in the movies Lilo And Stitch and Ocean's Eleven.
