  • After coming fourth on the British talent show The X-Factor in 2008 at the age of 16, Lancashire-born English singer-songwriter and actress Diana Vickers quietly signed to the RCA label. She spent six months in a studio recording her debut album, Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree, before playing the starring role in a West End production of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. After completing her theater stint, Vickers concentrated on launching her music career.
