Songfacts®:

  • This song finds Francis hooking up with Australian electronic duo The Presets. It was a long-distance collaboration in which they exchanged ideas by email. "We'd never met until I played Big Day Out in Australia, but we'd been working on the track for six months because there were so many different versions where each of us was like 'I'm not feeling this,' and it was totally fine," Francis told Billboard magazine "It's really fun to work with people like that and it's the whole purpose of my album. It's called Money Sucks, Friends Rule. It's very easy to work with friends."
