  • Vocalist Rob Damiani told Kerrang about the song's positive message. "When you do go through tough stuff, it might take weeks or months to realise that, but once you've been through it, they will never be as bad again," he explained. "It's about holding onto that feeling of elation you have when you're with your mates, and using it when you're at your lowest to guide you through."
  • Guitarist Simon Delaney told Kerrang about the song's music video.

"We had to document the Alexandra Palace show in music form! One of the things that people don't really appreciate is that when you put on the show at Alexandra Palace, you pay to bring in everything, the stage, the PA, every light. We spent every penny we made on that stuff, so we thought, 'we can't spend all that money and not film the show!' Plus we don't get to see the show when we're playing in it!"
