Songfacts®:

  • This track was penned by Eels mainman Mark Oliver Everett as a tribute to his secretary. He explained to The Sun: "She does things like writing thank-you notes to people I receive gifts from, sending flowers to people I've offended, and keeping an eye on Bobby Jr (E's faithful brown and white dog). She has such a great, Southern voice. I figured it was time to share it with the world."
