  • Frank Ocean details the joy of being love on this sultry track. However, he is wary that the relationship might have reached its pinnacle and suspects, "it's all downhill from here."
  • Color plays a frequent part in Ocean's music. Both the titular shades have been used by him previously on the Channel Orange tracks "White" and "Pink Matter."
  • Beyoncé provides vocals on the outro but her presence is barely noticeable, spending her time harmonizing in the background. Queen Bey previously linked with Frank Ocean for "I Miss You" off her 4 album and "Superpower" from the songstress' 2013 self-titled visual record.
  • Pharrell Williams produced the song with Ocean's former Odd Future colleague, Tyler The Creative. Pharrell previously helmed the Channel Orange tracks "Sweet Life" and "End."
