Songfacts®:

  • This song was co-written and produced by Gorgon City, who are an English electronic music duo consisting of two North London producers, Kye "Foamo" Gibbon and Matt "RackNRuin" Robson-Scott. The pair have achieved success in their home country with a collection of hit singles, including "Ready For Your Love" and "Here for You."
  • The song's music video video follows a gay couple preparing to get married, while the estranged father of one of the grooms decides to make a last-minute dash to the nuptials to support his son. "I just think the concept was just powerful to go with such a positive song. It's about love and everyone should have love and have the right to love who they want to love," Hudson told MTV News about the clip. "So I thought it would be powerful to take a concept like trying to find your equality in love no matter who you love."
