  • This was Jennifer Hudson's first single release after the tragic triple murder of her mother, brother, and nephew in Chicago.
  • The song was written and composed by Theron Thomas ("Take You There," When I Grow Up"), Terry Thomas and Brian Kennedy. The latter also produced the track. Kennedy's other production credits include "Disturbia" for Rihanna, "My Love" for Ciara and "Runnin'" for Jesse McCartney.
