  • According to the lady herself "Black Furs" was "about a girl I knew that used to wear a black fur coat…the rest is in the lyrics".
  • According to the UK discography compiled by Mike Barrett and Adrian Shorter, a radio edit was released in 1981 backed by "Stay With Me Till Dawn" on the Rocket label, and also as the B Side of "For You" on Chrysalis, (both songs on this single were recorded live).
    There are four names on the credit: Judie Tzuke, Mike Paxman, Paul Muggleton and Bob Noble. >>
