Songfacts®:

  • Nick Jonas penned this upbeat song for the animated movie Ferdinand. The film tells the story of a big-hearted bull, who mistaken for a dangerous beast, is captured and torn from his home. Nick Jonas said:

"I wrote this song with good friends of mine... and we wrote about feeling accepted and feeling loved, wherever that place is for you. For me it's home, it's my family, people I have closest to me; and the experiences we've shared."
  • The music video finds Nick Jonas singing the song in the center of a bullfighting ring. He is later joined by a diverse cast of dancers and they all dance together during the final measures of the track. The visual also features clips from the Ferdinand movie.

"You guys know how special 'Home' is to me & I'm so happy to share the video!," Jonas posted on Twitter. "We wanted to create a video with people of all different walks of life coming together. Love and acceptance are two of the best things we can give each other."
