  • "Panzram's Blues" was released on Amazon July 1, 2007 with vocal - running to 3 minutes 43 seconds - while the instrumental version runs to 3 minutes 37 seconds. Four years later both this song and the other Darren Kaplan/Mike Markowski composition "Carl Panzram" found their way onto the soundtrack of the documentary Carl Panzram: The Spirit Of Hatred And Vengeance. If a tiny fraction of the things convicted murderer Panzram said happened to him in his life did in fact happen, he would have made great fodder for any bluesman, but thankfully his exploits were undoubtedly greatly exaggerated. >>
