Songfacts®:

  • During the mid-1990s, Oasis were so popular in Britain that a single was released consisting entirely of Noel and Liam Gallagher arguing. The recording consists of NME's John Harris interviewing the Gallagher brothers in early 1994, when Oasis was on the verge of their commercial breakthrough. The siblings live up to their angry reputation by getting sidetracked into a sweary argument over an incident that happened on a ferry which resulted in Liam being arrested.
  • The single hit #52 on the UK charts, breaking the country's record for the highest charting interview release.
