The official artwork for this song is actually a picture of comedian Dave Chappelle impersonating Prince in a sketch on the 2000s Comedy Central series Chappelle's Show. Chappelle's Prince impersonation was one of his most popular - he portrayed The Purple One as being absurdly good at basketball.
The song's music video was directed by 18-year-old Danielle Curiel, who also stars in the clip as The Purple One himself. Prince granted the teenager complete artistic and directorial freedom after a single reading of the treatment that she submitted for the song.
"Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who is about a revolution, but it doesn't have a happy ending, since in the end the new regime becomes just like the old one. Pete Townshend thought that whoever was in power was destined to become corrupt.
