Songfacts®:

  • "Qué Pasaría…" ("What would happen…) is a reggaetón single featuring Rauw Alejandro's fellow Puerto Rican artist, Bad Bunny. It is the thumping soundtrack to the question we've all asked in the aftermath of a love gone awry: What would happen if we tried again?
  • The song is the second collaboration between both artists, after they laid down "Party" for Bad Bunny's 2022 album Un Verano Sin Ti.
  • Over bold beats and fast-paced reggaetón drums, Alejandro and Bad Bunny wonder what would happen if they reconnected with their exes. Alejandro and Bunny's longing and bittersweet memories provide a backdrop for their steamy exploration of a rekindled passion.
  • Fans wasted no time in linking the song to Rauw Alejandro's former fiancée, Spanish artist Rosalía. The pair broke up in July 2023, three months after announcing their engagement.
  • Rauw Alejandro, Puerto Rican-Dominican producer Marco "MAG" Borrero, Chilean producer Tomás "Red Fingers" Claro and American producer Mick Coogan created the song's head-bobbing beat, which is powered by fast-paced reggaetón drums.

MAG co-produced 18 out of the 22 tracks on Bad Bunny's 2023 Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana album, including "Where She Goes," "Monaco" and "Fina."

Coogan is also recognized for his collaborations with Bad Bunny, such as "Moscow Mule" and "Andrea."
  • Cosa Nuestra (Our Thing) is Alejandro's fifth album. He recorded it in Miami's 5020 Studio, Brooklyn's Electric Garden and Sensei Sound in Carolina, Puerto Rico. The title nods to Willie Colón and Héctor Lavoe's 1969 salsa album of the same name.
  • Rauw Alejandro performed "Qué Pasaría" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on November 20, 2024. It was half of a medley that also included another Cosa Nuestra track, "Amar De Nuevo." Alejandro performed alongside his band and backup dancers, set against a stylish red backdrop.
