Songfacts®:

  • This song finds Williams decrying the playlists of contemporary radio stations. He penned the song with the songwriting pair of Flynn Francis and Tim Metcalfe. Having caught the attention of the "Angels" singer, the Australian duo made three trips to Robbie's place in LA to collaborate on songs for Take The Crown. Williams said in a video uploaded to his official YouTube channel that the twosome "breathed youth" into the project and added a sense of "naivety and hope." "I found it to be a very fortuitous blend straight away," said the singer. "More so than anything I've ever done in the past really."
