  • Sienna Spiro's father is renowned jeweler Glenn Spiro, whose clientele has included Beyoncé and Michelle Obama. Glenn was so inspired by his daughter that he named a yellow diamond ring after her: the Sienna Star. When it went to auction in June 2021, the diamond fetched $3.4 million.
  • Musically, Spiro's sound sits somewhere between soul-pop and jazz, echoing the old records she grew up hearing at home. "When I was younger, my dad used to play all old soul and jazz records, which is always the core of my inspiration when I write," she told Dazed, citing influences like Etta James, Frank Sinatra, Amy Winehouse, and Frank Ocean.
  • Her very first performance outside of school was in a pub when Spiro was 10 years old. At the time she was being mentored by a teacher-and-daughter duo who would send her to open-mic nights.

"For the first one, I was terrified, but being on stage and singing in front of people is my favorite thing in the whole world and I don't think there's a feeling that will ever be the same as that," Spiro told Principle magazine.

She performed two songs: her self-penned "Lady in the Mirror" (about being bullied), and a cover of Amy Winehouse's "Love Is A Losing Game."
  • Spiro studied at East London Arts & Music (ELAM). But eight months in, she dropped out after finding a manager, deciding to follow the momentum rather than the syllabus.
  • Her big break came in 2021 during the pandemic, when she began uploading stripped-down performances to TikTok, often filmed from her shower floor or her bed. One cover - Finneas' "Break My Heart Again" - went viral, and soon she had management interest flooding in. In November 2022, Spiro's rendition of Emeli Sandé's "Read All About It (Pt. III)" garnered over 4 million views.
  • After signing with Capitol Records, Spiro released her debut single, "Need Me," in May 2024, followed by "Maybe" in August, which reached #72 on the UK Official Singles Chart. But it was her emotional ballad "Die On This Hill" (released October 10, 2025) that was her big breakthrough, debuting at #26 and earning her comparisons to early Adele for its piano-led production and Spiro's raspy, soulful vocal delivery.
