Songfacts®:

  • Bruce Fielder is a London-based DJ who records under the name of Sigala. His first appearance on the UK charts was as a credited writer and producer on Ella Eyre's single "Good Times," which peaked at #37 in August 2015.
  • This is Sigala's debut single under his own name. The song samples Michael Jackson's vocals on The Jackson 5 hit "ABC" over a summery house beat. The producer penned the song in his bedroom one Sunday evening after a couple of beers.
  • In an interview with OfficialCharts.com, Sigala stated that the song has the seal of approval from Tito Jackson. The Jacksons' member was working in the same building as Sigala prior to the track being released. A meeting was set up to play him the song and the producer said he, "was terrified he would kick off and storm out and hate it, but he was really nice about it. In fact he loved it!"
  • The song debuted at #1 on the UK singles chart, beating ABC's chart peak of #8.
  • The video was shot in Los Angeles and features the Canadian/Filipino dancing duo Lucky Aces. They were chosen after the director spotted them on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
