    Snoop, Pharrell, and Charlie Wilson previously worked together on two tracks from the rapper's 2004 R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece album: "Perfect" and "Signs" (the latter song also had some assists from Justin Timberlake).
  • Snoop Dogg performed the song during the final episode of the first season of Empire. The rapper features as an artist under the Empire conglomerate.
