"When I wrote that song, I got nominated [for Best Rap Song in 2008] for 'Crank Dat,' and I lost to Kanye [for 'Good Life,']," he explained to Billboard magazine, "and when I was going into this album I was like, 'Man, I need a Grammy!'"
