T-Pain explained on the album's press release that his family was the inspiration for this acoustic tune. He explained: "I want to make sure that my kids live a good life. I don't want them to have to figure out the hard way what a food stamp is. I've slept in cars. I went through a lot in my life and I'm going to make sure that if somebody's life is in my hands that they're not going to have to go through that."
