Songfacts®:

  • This single from Leeds-based DJ Tom Zanetti features silky smooth guest vocals by English R&B singer Sadie Ama. The songstress' older sister is Shola Ama who scored two UK Top 10 hits in 1997 with "You Might Need Somebody" and "You're the One I Love."
  • The song represents Sadie Ama's first visit to the UK singles chart as a singer, but she has appeared in a number of music videos including ones for hit tunes by Spice Girls' ("Mama") and Lemar ("50/50 & Lullaby").
  • The music video finds Zanetti arriving at an epic pool party at a location in surrey, just south of London. It features cameo appearances from contestants that appeared on the MTV reality TV series Ex on the Beach, including Dapper Laughs, Ashley Cain and Chloe Khan. Love Island couple Kady McDermott and Scott Thomas also feature in the clip

Zanetti explained the inspiration for the visual to 1883 Magazine:

"The song mentions 'champagne' and 'swagger', combined with a luxury house party and good looking people, it matches the mood of the song.

Actually, It's an underground dance-house track, which has come out in a more mainstream way. This allowed us to cast mainstream characters in the video, a tailor for example which makes the video more commercial I think. Having Kady McDermott and her boyfriend, Scott Thomas, gave the video great exposure and it sets the track-up nicely for the reality TV generation."
  • Zanetti told The Daily Star that everybody else on set went on a big night out afterwards, but he was too tired to go.

"I was DJ-ing in Birmingham until six in the morning so I had to get down to London," he said. "I had an hours sleep as filming started at 9am and it ended at 11pm. It was very tiring but a lot of fun."
