  • You don't see the world the way I do.
Your eyes, they no longer search for truth
    because you found it.
I don't feel used when I'm with you.
I don't feel abused when I am with you.
    Oh no,
    Oh no

    You're not out for blood,
    You only want what's beautiful.
    You're not out for blood,
    You're in love with truth.

I wanna be someone more like you,
    someone more like you.
I wanna be someone more like you,
    Coconut Dracula.

I want my eyes to be like yours.

I want to know what defines my worth. Oh please, can you tell me?

I don't feel used when I'm with you.
I don't feel abused when I'm with you.
    Oh no,
    Oh no

    You're not out for blood,
    You only want what's beautiful
    You're not out for blood,
    You're in love with truth.

I wanna be someone more like you,
    someone more like you.
I wanna be someone more like you,
    Coconut Dracula.

I need you to teach me what you know.

Is this what it's like to see through your eyes?
Is this what it's like to see?

I wanna be someone more like you,
Coconut Dracula. Writer/s: Andrew Murphy, Christopher Doot, Eric Frazier, Michael Carvajal

  • Dante Blom from Lakeland, FlThis is one of my favorite songs of ALL-TIME - easily in my TOP 25 (and that's quite a feat for Islander since I own 10K+ songs and know another 10K+!). My reasons (musically)? It is a uniquely melodic, organized, frenetic, and technically brilliant! My reasons (lyrically)? As a certified educator, science fanatic, and 'academiaphile', I am NOT out for blood and yet am bloodthirsty for knowledge, the acquisition of knowledge, the sharing of knowledge, and the relaying and passing onward of knowledge. I, myself, am seeking my own vampire of a certain flavor(s), and when I find him/her, 'it' will become 'we'....
