  • Reggie from Los Angeles, CaApart from the big reference surrounding Rocky Balboa (Rocky III) as well as Tarzan, this song just reminds me of two Super Sentai (original Power Rangers) shows - Seijuu Sentai Gingaman (Star Beast Squadron Gingaman - Power Rangers Lost Galaxy) and Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger (Hundred Beasts Squadron Gaoranger - Power Rangers Wild Force). Katy's "Roar" could also be considered a song subtly referencing Hyaku Juo GoLion (King of Hundred Beasts GoLion), the original anime that's the source material for the westernized "Voltron" series.
