Songfacts®:

  • BBMak write many of their own songs, but "Run Away" was written by Nuno Bettencourt from the band Extreme, known for their hit "More Than Words," which BBMak covered at MTV's 2000 New Year's Party and also recorded on their first album.
  • The song is part of the second BBMak album, Into Your Head, which went nowhere when it was released in 2002. The band blamed their label for poor promotion, and in 2003 they disbanded. The group returned in 2018 and put out their third album in 2019.
