  • Before he started playing G I R L at the album's listening party, Pharrell seemed almost coy about the fact that some of his songs might be about sex. But this cut with its with audible heavy breathing is obviously an ode to making love.

    Pharrell explained when playing the track that "Hunter" is written from the perspective of an amorous woman, and he is dramatizing the pursuit of her affections.
