  • For the mesmerizing outro, created with a modular synthesizer, guitarist John Frusciante looked to his musical idols for inspiration. "I wanted to have a lot of movement on this recording," he explained. "I was inspired by people like Brian Eno and people like Jimi Hendrix who didn't just stop at playing their drums and guitars and bass and everything but actually tried to turn things into a sonic landscape and tried to make it interesting from a sonic standpoint as well as from a playing standpoint."
