  • In a crooked little town, they were lost and never found
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves on the ground

I hitched a ride, up to the coast
To leave behind, all of my ghosts
Searching for something, I couldn't find at home

Can't get no job, can you spare a dime?
Just one more hit and I'll be fine
I swear to God, this'll be my one last time

In a crooked little town, they were lost and never found
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves on the ground
Run away before you drown or the streets will beat you down
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves on the ground

When it gets dark, in Pigeon Park
Voice in my head, will soon be fed
By the vultures that circle round the dead

In a crooked little town, they were lost and never found
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves on the ground
Run away before you drown, or the streets will beat you down
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves on the ground

I never once thought, I'd ever be caught
Staring at sidewalks, hiding my track marks
I left my best friends or did they just leave me

In a crooked little town, they were lost and never found
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves on the ground
In a crooked little town, they were lost and never found
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves on the ground
Run away before you drown or the streets will beat you down
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves on the ground

    Run away before you drown
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves on the ground
    Run away before you drown
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves on the ground Writer/s: Aaron Solowoniuk, Ben Kowalewicz, Ian D'sa, Jon Gallant

  • Nyx from TexasI wish that everyone is okay and doing well, that’s all, have a good day/night.
  • Scot from Port MoodyI lived in an apartment across from Pigeon Park for a while in the 90s. Yah this was the center of the blight and depression that has never been solved. There were no street camps back then but many drowned there, lost and never found. Bad heroine came rolling though and everyone tried to get clean or die. I left town in '98 just as the pig farmer story broke. Never heard of Billy Talent until I came back to BC twenty years later. This songs for real.
  • Dennis from Toronto, OnOkay let me correct you and introduce my old self. I am the Base Guitars Father in Law. Jon use to live in my house while he was building his Condo. I love him like my own son. Fallen Leaves is about the Heroin Addicts in Vancouver. During the recording of their first album they stayed in an inexpensive hotel right beside the Grandville Bridge. In the morning the Junkies were looking through the garbage bins for Breakfast. If you ever have been too Vancouver you would likely remember the worlds biggest maple Leaves. The Park mentioned in the song is real, the suffering is real and the Junkies leave their folks out to the coast... Go to, Devil at Midnight Mass, Nothing too Loose, and Killer Bees and I will tell you more.
