• Ganni Lama from In The Middle Of The SeaJason from Nevada, I know EXACTLY what you're on about. After nearly 30yrs of marriage I'm just grateful my wife is still my friend. Platonic is the right word. Beautiful song though.

I'm now 40, and still deeply in love with my wife, as she is with me. Still, love changes. Love becomes more familial and less romantic. It is different, but that doesn't mean less. To me, this song is about approaching the end of life together.
