  • Forrest Frank is an American contemporary Christian singer-songwriter. His music conveys themes of positivity and reflection, blending pop, R&B, worship, and lo-fi/rap influences.
  • He grew up in Fulshear, Texas, near Houston, the son of Kerryl Ann (née Grantham) and Ronald Frank. Forrest Frank's grandfather is Neil Frank, a renowned meteorologist.
  • Forrest grew up in a musically inclined family. His mother was a worship leader and his grandmother composed children's music.
  • Forrest Frank is a self-taught instrumentalist who plays guitar, piano, and ukulele. He started making beats in high school after being inspired by someone using a Maschine Micro production tool. "I thought, 'That looks fun.' I was terrible at first, but I kept at it," he recalled to Lancaster Ministries. By senior year of college, I reached a point where people started asking for my songs."
  • In 2017 he co-founded the genre-blending duo Surfaces with Colin Padalecki. Their 2019 single "Sunday Best" became a viral hit, peaking at #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June 2020.
  • Frank released his first Christian single, "No Longer Bound," in 2023. It became an instant hit and topped Spotify's Top 50 Viral Playlist. His 2024 album Child of God debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart and its track "Good Day" was named Contemporary Song of the Year at that year's Dove Awards.
  • He attended Baylor University, where he graduated with a degree in business. After college, Frank briefly worked at Abbott Laboratories and at a Seattle pharmaceutical company before quitting to pursue music full time.
  • Raised in a Baptist/non-denominational home, Frank gave his life to Christ at age 8 but experienced a deeper spiritual transformation during his sophomore year of college after a powerful encounter at Antioch Church in Waco.

  • Forrest married Grace Frank in 2020. Because of the pandemic, their wedding reception was postponed until May 2021.
