"There's corridos in which you'll hear me rap," Peso told Billboard. "My music is inspired by many cultures, and that's what I love about it."
• "Peso Pluma" literally translates to "Featherweight" in English. The singer/rapper was known for being particularly thin during his earlier days, and he adopted his name after a conversation with boxer Marco Antonio Barrera.
